Not positive on the best coach but the best schools regarding football are most likely Providence School off of Hodges Boulevard or Arlington Country Day School off of Fort Caroline Road.

The Bolles School Bulldogs have won 10 state championship and 2 state championships back to back Last season they went undefeated This season they only lost 1 game - In OT to Cocoa but they should have won Their coach Corky Rogers is the most winningest coach in Florida Football history It is also a boarding school Their rivals Bishop Kenny are pretty good and Tim Tebow's school Nease High School which is in Ponte Vedra,Jacksonville Beach Sandalwood is pretty good(8-3 but no state championship this year) and Bolles is only 10 miles from Sandalwood

Make sure you locate to a nicer neighborhood in Jacksonvile. The beach area is a great place., but Jacksonville has alot of crime. In Florida it is one of, or is the highest in crime. May I suggest a small town just north of Jacksonville that you should check out. It is called Amellia Island. Many people live there and make the small compute into Jacksonville for work. The island which is actuslly a penninsula is so quaint and nice that Ritz Carlton has built there. Also, from there you can take a ferry with your car over to Jacksonville which is a very short trip. If you do move into Jacksonville please take the time to visit Amellia Island, You will not be dissapointed. Linda from Fla.

I love Jacksonville a great deal... it is a beautiful city with a lot to do. Research the area you are moving to as there are some areas that are not all that great. Also look into the schools in the area you are moving as some are good and some are bad. I personally would avoid living on the southside of town as the traffic is horrible, horrible, horrible. The Atlatic Blvd. area near Kernan is a nice area as are the beaches. As for Amelia Island, yes it is beautiful and very quaint... however, unless you are loaded financially, it won't be an option. Good luck and I hope you enjoy living in Jax!

1. Get The Joy of Cooking cookbook. It is great for telling you about food and cooking, in addition to having many, many good recipes! You can find it at any bookstore or Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0684818701/qid=1148278232/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-1912396-5884852?s=books&v=glance&n=283155 2. Call a high school or college/university home ec. teacher and ask her/him to help you get a cooking textbook. 3. http://www.efollett.com/TradebookListingDisplay/10001-29205-10051-1?purpose=subcat&parentCategoryId=28650 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0517309726/qid=1148277745/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/002-1912396-5884852?s=books&v=glance&n=283155 http://www.textbookland.com/prices/1933405031 http://www.textbookland.com/prices/0609808621 http://www.textbookland.com/prices/0786887494 http://www.textbookland.com/prices/0028633504

I do not know about Florida but usually you can sign up for cooking classes at a local jr. college and/or a local adult school. You might ask one of your friends or one of their moms also...I know that I have taught all of my kids and many of their friends the basics as well as anything else I could about cooking when they asked! Also realize that if you never try you will never succeed! If you can read, you can cook....get a basic cookbook....look through it first for a recipe you might want to try, start with the shorter recipes first....go pick up the ingrediants at the store....come home and just dive right in....follow the directions and even if you goof the first time you will eventually get it! Also....watch the Food Channel.... I am an accomplished cook and still learn by watching their shows!

Hey a hometown girl. I'm from the beaches (but live in Texas now), I'm not sure about a cooking school, just check the phone book under schools, there may be something in there, good luck!

The above ideas are good, but if you want some hands on training, try Home Sweet Home Personal Chef: Phone: (904) 631-2419 They offer cooking classes. Hope this helps!
