Traveling to Jacksonville Florida... HELP!?!?

Traveling to Jacksonville Florida... HELP!?!?
I have freshman orientation July 2nd and 3rd for the University of North Florida. I found a reasonably priced fight: https://www.orbitz.com/Secure/ViewFlightInformation?retrieveParams=true&z=4d76&r=1m0&z=4d78&r=1m2&lastPage=interstitial.... but that only gets me to the airport. I don't have much money and want to keep this as cheap as possible. I tried getting in touch with someone at the school to give me advice about transportation and such... but haven't heard back! I don't want to use a cab for the trip from the airport to the school because of cost-- but I can't seem to find a bus or shuttle or track-line that goes to the school! HELP PLEASE! I'm about ready to cry from frustration and shock at the price-tag attached to all this. And the school's not really being any help either (they won't even let me stay in the dorm room over night!)

There is a shuttle bus from the airport that should get you to the central downtown terminal for just a couple of bucks. http://www.jtafla.com/Schedules/showPage.aspx?Sel=155 From there, you can pick up the SS-6 bus to UNF for another buck or so. http://www.jtafla.com/Schedules/showPage.aspx?Sel=159 A relatively-inexpensive place to stay for a while is the InTown Suites on Beach Blvd - it's a 2-mile drive but a doable mile or so walk from the northern edge of UNF. http://www.intownsuites.com/detail_hotel.asp?id=71 This will show you the InSuites location...UNF is just to the SE. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Jacksonville&state=FL&address=11451+Beach+Blvd&zipcode=32246-3805&country=US&latitude=30.28703&longitude=-81.52382&geocode=ADDRESS

Well, the guy above is wrong...but he does have some good info The whole trip will take only two dollars (1 to downtown and 1 to UNF) 1. Take the CT-3 to downtown (the first link is the bus schedule) 2. Get off at the downtown station (Rosa Parks Station) and take the R-5 to UNF Note: There are two R-5 stations, one with a yellow sign (Murray Hill) and one with a green sign (Regency/UNF). Take the one with the green sign http://www.jtafla.com/Schedules/showPage.aspx?Sel=145 3. Be careful of mixing up the Weekday and Weekend schedules 4. the trip from downtown to UNF is complete hell..you're on the bus for like an hour...bring something to do haha Your link was expired so i couldn't really see when you would land in jacksonville
